Blossom Moth Pendant
I put in a lot of late nights while developing and producing my porcelain pieces; the three moth shapes in the collection are based on actual moths that kept me company as I worked. Delicate but determined, moths can encourage us to go after our goals--but they can also caution us to be careful about burning out.
COLORS limestone, cream only
VARIATIONS Some are white on the reverse side. Weight and color will vary slightly from piece to piece.
SIZE pendant 1 ⅞ x 2 ¾ x ½”, cord 30”
MATERIALS slip-cast porcelain, nylon, vintage porcelain beads
MECHANISM The closure is a hand-tied sliding macrame knot; the cord ends are capped with vintage porcelain beads. Slip the cord over your head, then pull the beads in opposite directions to shorten the cord to a comfortable length.
CARE Made from high-fired porcelain, these pendants are comparable to a china cup; they may break if dropped on a hard surface, but with gentle handling will last for years. They can be washed by hand with soap and water.
