Sometimes described as a “watermelon on legs,” a newborn tapir is a strong contender to win any cute baby contest. From its tiny tail to its prehensile nose, this baby tapir pendant measures just over half an inch. Originally carved in wax, each pendant is cast in silver, polished, and given a little patina to bring out the details (and yes, I am thinking “awwwwww” throughout the entire process).
